A Virtual Cup of Coffee with Cooper Head '20

You can only have one: Rose’s caramel corn, an ice cream cone from Jersey Junction, or a Yesterdog. Which do you choose?
Yesterdog; hands down.

What are your plans after graduation?
I will be studying economics at the University of Michigan.

What have you learned in East that will enable you to be successful?
I have learned how to balance difficult work with a social life.

What were you like in school?
Involved, studious, and friendly.

Did you have a favorite teacher or class?
AP Lit with Mr. Stabile.

If you had to choose one moment in one location to serve as the signature moment of your East school experience, what would it be?
Walking down Mehney Field with my parents on Senior Night for soccer in the fall.

What do you know now that you wish you’d known when you were younger?
How to do math.

Who from East do you think you’ll stay in touch with in the future?
I will stay in touch with my close friends and my girlfriend Leah.

What advice do you have for young East kids?
Don't waste a single moment in high school because it goes by in the blink of an eye. Join that club, go to that sporting event, go to the dance, because none of it should be taken for granted.

Bonus question: What are you glad we didn’t ask you about?
Middle school.
