This is the NOMINATION form for the Charles B. “Chip” Ridenour Memorial Scholarship which will be awarded to a graduating EGRHS Senior at the Awards assembly in May.

This is NOT an application – students must be nominated by March 15 to be eligible for this award.

CHARLES B. CHIP RIDENOUR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP NOMINATION FORM

PURPOSE:

To provide a $1,000 post-secondary scholarship to an East Grand Rapids High School senior for enrollment in a college/university, vocational/technical school, art or design school, or school of nursing in the United States.

ELIGIBILITY:

The Charles B. “Chip” Ridenour Memorial Scholarship is given annually to:
a graduating senior;
who will be attending post-secondary school;
one who has shown the capacity repeatedly throughout his/her school career to make others feel good about themselves; and
one who best exemplifies the qualities that Chip showed in his many friendships: caring, nurturing, and his regard for the dignity of the individual.
