James & Georgia Nicholas Endowed Award for Teacher of Math, Science or Technology

The purpose of the annual James and Georgia Nicholas Endowed Award is to recognize excellence in the teaching of math, science or technology. The award is a monetary gift of $2,000.

Nominations for the award may be received from students, parents, community members and employees of the East Grand Rapids Public Schools. Any teacher in the district may be nominated for the award as long as they are a teacher of math, science, or technology. The deadline for nomination submission is April 30.
