What are your plans after graduation?
Arizona State and Spain! My major is Business (Spanish Language and Culture).

What have you learned in East that will enable you to be successful?
I’ve learned the importance of respect and an open mind; also, to never take anything for granted and pursue each opportunity I am presented with.

What were you like in school?
I was quiet sometimes until you got to know me, then I was really outgoing.

Did you have a favorite teacher or class?
Señora Mercado Blackport and Mr. Szpieg.

If you had to choose one moment in one location to serve as the signature moment of your East school experience, what would it be?
I’m not sure of an exact moment, but I hung out with my friends a lot and all of our memories and inside jokes made it a great time.

What do you know now that you wish you’d known when you were younger?
To not take anything for granted and to appreciate everything in the moment.

Who from East do you think you’ll stay in touch with in the future?
Jordan Plumstead, Rachel Strauss, Isabelle O’Connor, Acacia Walter Rooks, Kora Maioho, Anabel Ross.

What advice do you have for young East kids?
Take lots of photos or start a way to record all of your favorite memories with your friends.

Bonus question: What are you glad we didn’t ask you about?
The coronavirus, or how much I’ll miss throwing pottery on the wheel.
