Ice cream cone from Jersey.
What are your plans after graduation?
I’m going to the University of Toronto.
What have you learned in East that will enable you to be successful?
I have learned to have a strong work ethic and work hard.
What were you like in school?
In school I wasn’t loud but I wasn’t quiet either. I was definitely louder and more outspoken in certain classes though.
Did you have a favorite teacher or class?
My favorite teachers have been Mrs. Miller for AP Psych, Sra. Mercado-Blackport for AP Spanish, and Ms. LaGrand for IBHL English. Those have also been my favorite classes.
If you had to choose one moment in one location to serve as the signature moment of your East school experience, what would it be?
I would choose the first day of track my freshman year because that’s where I met my best friends from track and cross country.
What do you know now that you wish you’d known when you were younger?
I wish I would’ve known that stressing over one bad grade is pointless and a waste of time.
Who from East do you think you’ll stay in touch with in the future?
I’ll stay in touch with a lot of my teammates from cross country and track, as well as other friends I’ve made.
What advice do you have for young East kids?
My advice would be to join teams/clubs and put yourself out there to meet new people.
Bonus question: What are you glad we didn’t ask you about?
I’m glad you didn’t ask me about my favorite memory from East, because there are too many to choose from.
