What are your plans after graduation?
I am going to The University of Dayton to study Business Economics and Finance.
What have you learned in East that will enable you to be successful?
I have learned how important it is to work with others. I have also learned how to manage a lot of things at once (classes, homework, social life, and extracurriculars, etc.).
What were you like in school?
I was a very outgoing and friendly to people in my classes. I like to be friends with everyone and making everyone feel included.
Did you have a favorite teacher or class?
My favorite teacher was Mr. Vandenbrink because he impacted me in such a positive way.
If you had to choose one moment in one location to serve as the signature moment of your East school experience, what would it be?
The East Grand Rapids High School track.
What do you know now that you wish you’d known when you were younger?
High schools goes by super fast and I should have enjoyed every moment more.
Who from East do you think you’ll stay in touch with in the future?
My friends and some of my most influential teachers and coaches.
What advice do you have for young East kids?
My advice is to appreciate every thing and take every opportunity you can to support your school and be with you friends because you never know what can happen.
