What are your plans after graduation?
I am going to Grace Christian University to play soccer and further my education.
What have you learned in East that will enable you to be successful?
That school and hard work will pay off so put your all into it.
What were you like in school?
I was very shy in my younger ages but I then grew into a leader and started to speak out more as I got older and more mature.
Did you have a favorite teacher or class?
Choir was my favorite class, and Dr. Borst is my favorite teacher.
If you had to choose one moment in one location to serve as the signature moment of your East school experience, what would it be?
I got a hat trick my sophomore year playing soccer and it was on Mehney field. In that moment I had never been more proud to be playing for my school and home town.
What do you know now that you wish you’d known when you were younger?
I wish I would have known that other opinions do not matter. I also wish I would have known that I’m going to grow and be a unique person that I am meant to be and that is a good thing.
Who from East do you think you’ll stay in touch with in the future?
My best friend from kindergarten, Claire Henderson.
What advice do you have for young East kids?
Keep working hard in everything you do. It will pay off in the future.
