What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to attend college.
What have you learned in East that will enable you to be successful?
I have learned how to branch out and be inclusive towards everyone. I have also learned the importance of checking in with your peers and treating everyone with kindness. Through my schoolwork, I have learned how to be responsible along with time management.
What were you like in school?
I was quiet in certain classes but also very talkative in others. I was very including towards others, along with new students.
Did you have a favorite teacher or class?
Two of my favorite teachers and classes were AP psych with Mrs. Miller and business management and SEM with Mrs. Weigel.
If you had to choose one moment in one location to serve as the signature moment of your East school experience, what would it be?
I think winning states my freshman year really showed me the importance of a team. I learned so much, both about tennis and how to be a team.
What do you know now that you wish you’d known when you were younger?
It is important to always to do your best work, although it may be hard at times.
Who from East do you think you’ll stay in touch with in the future?
I think I will stay in touch with a couple of my teachers and my close friends.
What advice do you have for young East kids?
Get involved in as much as you can. You’ll regret it if you don’t.
