A Virtual Cup of Coffee with Brenden Bagnall '20

You can only have one: Rose’s caramel corn, an ice cream cone from Jersey Junction, or a Yesterdog. Which do you choose?
Jersey Junction.

What are your plans after graduation?
I am going to the University of Michigan-Dearborn in the fall studying business or finance.

What have you learned in East that will enable you to be successful?
Work ethic.

What were you like in school?
I was definitely quiet and reserved to people in class who I didn't know as well as others. I was talkative and sociable to all of my friends.

Did you have a favorite teacher or class?
I liked all my teachers but if I had to chose one it would be Dr. Borst during my senior year with Madrigals.

If you had to choose one moment in one location to serve as the signature moment of your East school experience, what would it be?
Christmas week performances with the Madrigals.

What do you know now that you wish you’d known when you were younger?
Time goes by fast, try and make the most out of anything at high school because you will have good memories that you will never forget.

Who from East do you think you’ll stay in touch with in the future?
My friends and my closest friends Joey Couvreur and Evan Bishop who I've known since we were young.

What advice do you have for young East kids?
Have fun, make the most out of every moment, and be yourself.

Bonus question: What are you glad we didn’t ask you about?
My least favorite memory.
