Yesterdog but only if it’s at 2 am.
What are your plans after graduation?
Study at Tulane University and have fun.
What have you learned in East that will enable you to be successful?
Time management. There are so many things going on here.
What were you like in school?
I liked trying to be funny and having fun, but also worked hard at sports and school which I’m proud of. Sometimes I was a prick but it’s because I’m a teenager.
Did you have a favorite teacher or class?
There are so many teachers that have been amazing to me I couldn’t pick one. Mrs Michell, Mrs Miller, Mr Titus, Mr Strickland Mr Stabile and Mr Farmer were a few I will miss a ton. I learned so much from them.
If you had to choose one moment in one location to serve as the signature moment of your East school experience, what would it be?
Playing in the drumline on Memorial Field after kicking Lowell’s behind. When I think of high school I’ll always think of those Friday nights.
What do you know now that you wish you’d known when you were younger?
I wish I knew to hang out with more people than just my close friends. There are so many awesome people I wish I could see again but might not. Also no matter how excited you are on the bus after winning a freshmen football game, keep your pants on.
Who from East do you think you’ll stay in touch with in the future?
Anyone who wants to. Hopefully my close friends but also just people who I messed around in class with or talked to on occasion that just want to catch up.
What advice do you have for young East kids?
Appreciate your uniqueness and people will appreciate you. Get to know your teachers well. They are some of the smartest and most caring people I’ve ever met and you can have a great time with them. Also always be kind to everyone, the little things can make someone’s day 1000x better. Lastly, embarrassing moments and making stupid mistakes build character and can be funny stories in the future, so don’t dwell on it too much.
Bonus question: What are you glad we didn’t ask you about?
If I’m mad about ending my senior year early.
