You can only have one: Rose’s caramel corn, an ice cream cone from Jersey Junction, or a Yesterdog. Which do you choose?
Yesterdog for sure! That place holds so many special memories with my family and friends and they hands down have the best hot dogs ever.
What are your plans after graduation?
I will be going to Michigan State University to study Political Science.
What have you learned in East that will enable you to be successful?
One thing that I have learned from my time at East is the importance of community. It is really an amazing thing to see everyone come together whether that be for a celebration, sports, etc. I have learned that we are always better when we stick together.
What were you like in school?
I think that I was a pretty outgoing and friendly person
Did you have a favorite teacher or class?
My favorite high school teacher would have to be Mrs. Edleman.
If you had to choose one moment in one location to serve as the signature moment of your East school experience, what would it be?
It's hard to choose just one moment to serve as the signature moment for my East school experience. If I had to narrow it down to one it would be senior retreat at Camp Henry.
What do you know now that you wish you’d known when you were younger?
To always be yourself and to not take anything for granted
Who from East do you think you’ll stay in touch with in the future?
I hope to stay in touch with my close friends (shoutout to the Wolfpack). The majority of us have been friends since middle school or even before that so I am confident that we are going to stick together for a long time. I also know I'll stay close with my boyfriend Cooper Head.
What advice do you have for young East kids?
My one piece of advice would be that it's okay to struggle in school. School is not a competition. Everyone learns at their own pace and in their own ways. It's okay to not understand things at times.
Bonus question: What are you glad we didn’t ask you about?
I am glad you didn't ask me about my GPA or my SAT/ACT scores. Those were two things that I definitely struggled with throughout high school.
