What are your plans after graduation?
I am planning on going to Coastal Carolina University to study marine science. I want to go into coral conservation and help coral reefs grow.
What have you learned in East that will enable you to be successful?
I have learned to be kind and accept others. East teaches people to be more prepared for life.
What were you like in school?
I was very outgoing and energetic in school.
Did you have a favorite teacher or class?
I really liked US History with Mr. Vandenbrink. I also really liked having Mr. Kawel as a teacher.
If you had to choose one moment in one location to serve as the signature moment of your East school experience, what would it be?
The Christmas/Holiday concert of 2019. I sat next to my good friends and we enjoyed our last Christmas concert together. I really liked watching Bruce conduct for his final time.
What do you know now that you wish you’d known when you were younger?
I would have liked to know how senior year ends, so I could be prepared. I wish I would've known who my friends would end up being in high school too.
Who from East do you think you’ll stay in touch with in the future?
Hopefully I stay in touch with my good friends but I liked almost everyone in my grade so I'd be glad to stay in touch with anyone!
What advice do you have for young East kids?
Enjoy your time at East and don't take it for granted.
Bonus question: What are you glad we didn’t ask you about?
I'm glad you didn't ask me why I chose my signature moment for high school because then I would've had to explain that I brought my tortoise to school, and my parents don't know about that... not anymore.
