What are your plans after graduation?
Study Arts and Humanities at Michigan State University! Go Green!

What have you learned in East that will enable you to be successful?
I’ve learned how to work well in a competitive environment.

What were you like in school?
Friendly and quiet for the most part, but sat next to the right people I could become a chatterbox.

Did you have a favorite teacher or class?
My favorite teacher from East was Mr. Fouch. I had him in 7th and 8th grade and that was the last time I truly understood math, because he went above and beyond to help his students learn. My favorite class was AP Psychology with Mrs. Miller!!

If you had to choose one moment in one location to serve as the signature moment of your East school experience, what would it be?
Standing side by side with my fellow seniors and leading the cheers at our final home swim meet.

What do you know now that you wish you’d known when you were younger?
Calculus.

Who from East do you think you’ll stay in touch with in the future?
My swim coaches and my friends!

What advice do you have for young East kids?
Utilize your recess time while it lasts.

Bonus question: What are you glad we didn’t ask you about?
Most embarrassing moment from my time at East - too many to choose from!
