You can only have one: Rose’s caramel corn, an ice cream cone from Jersey Junction, or a Yesterdog. Which do you choose?
I think that if I could only choose one, I would have to go for a Yesterdog. Yesterdog has been a part of many late nights with friends, either after football games in the fall or before bonfires in the summer.
What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I will be attending the University of Michigan and studying Gender and Health. I hope to eventually earn my medical degree and work as an obstetrician-gynecologist.
What have you learned in East that will enable you to be successful?
I have learned that I should always be true to myself and what I believe in.
What were you like in school?
I would like to think that I was generally an outgoing person and tried to connect with as many people as possible. I liked to be involved in school clubs and activities as much as I could.
Did you have a favorite teacher or class?
I learned something different and equally important from each of my teachers!
If you had to choose one moment in one location to serve as the signature moment of your East school experience, what would it be?
A really memorable experience was the bonfire during our senior retreat when everyone was together and having fun. I think that, especially now, it's really meaningful that we were able to have an experience like that.
What do you know now that you wish you’d known when you were younger?
It really does go by so fast! I used to HATE hearing that. You will look back and feel like high school was a blur.
Who from East do you think you’ll stay in touch with in the future?
I hope to stay in touch with as many people as possible!
What advice do you have for young East kids?
It's always important to focus on academics, but enjoying life and spending time with your friends is important too. Being well-rounded is going to be most beneficial to you in the long run.
Bonus question: What are you glad we didn’t ask you about?
Grades.
