All great programs, and all part of East Grand Rapids Leadership and Youth Development (EGRLYD). So where did LYD come from? Like so many things in our community, it started with a grant from the Foundation.
Way back in 1994, Betsy Willey ‘64 (this year’s EGRSF Community Service Award honoree) and Dave Kampfschulte co-founded the Youth Development Program with the help of the Foundation. Nearly 30 years later, their vision is still helping our students.
