One of the Foundation’s goals is to provide opportunities for students to discover their passions. Funding the High School Quiz Bowl team is one way we’ve been able to do that.
But don’t just take our word for it. Listen to Dr. Jim MacDonald of the EGRHS class of 1981: “I have the fondest memories of Quiz Bowl and my fellow teammates Brett Fisher, Craig Bradshaw and Hunter Barr,” MacDonald says. “How fun and novel to make knowledge a competitive game!!! I think the modern popularity of Jeopardy is a reflection of our collective and increasing appreciation of the value of knowledge in our increasingly complex world. Bravo Quiz Bowl and Go Pioneers!!!”
