Biggest Year Ever for grants

photo of students with big check

Already this fall, thanks to our donors, the Foundation has funded nearly a quarter million dollars in classroom enhancement grants.

The grants will benefit students at all our schools, including the high school, middle school, all three elementaries, and--for the first time ever--the preschool program.

Funded grants include new technology, STEAM resources, support for the marching band and robotics teams, continued funding for the elementary learning commons coordinator position, and underwriting plays and musicals at all our schools.

Our board even approved a mini-grant for new soccer goals that was requested by Wealthy Elementary second grader Maxen Reed (pictured here with his big check)!

You can find a complete list of all the grants and mini-grants the Foundation has funded this fall on our Funded Grants page.

Our board will consider another set of grant applications this spring.
