Remember The Tubes? With Fee Waybill? This Isn't Them

High school science teachers Heather Carlson, Thomas Fox, and Matt Harold wrote a grant for a group of items most Foundation board members have probably never seen: spectrum tube power supplies.

So we asked Carlson to explain: "Spectrum tube power supplies purchased by the foundation allow our students to directly observe emission spectra generated by different gases, aiding their understanding of atomic structure and the electromagnetic spectrum. By comparing spectra using power supplies, bulbs and charts students develop analytical skills while deepening their comprehension of light properties and its interaction with matter. This hands-on approach not only brings science to life but helps us nurture problem-solving skills."

Got it. Thank, you! And thank you, Foundation donors, for making this possible.
