Elementary school teachers Haley Kline and Sam Pugia wrote a grant request to the Foundation for $4,195 to fund experiences for their students along with the Grand Rapids Symphony. The results were even better than they hoped.
"The students absolutely loved the field trips, and it was amazing to see the instruments up close! We are so grateful to the EGRSF for their support!" the teachers said.
