Today, the role of the East Grand Rapids School Foundation in funding educational excellence is more important than ever before. The current endowment allows us to fund over $110,000 each year, but that is only enough to fulfill half of the grants requests we receive. These requests continue to increase as teachers and staff seek ways to provide a quality educational experience in the face of significant cuts in state funding.
The Foundation’s EGR NOW! and EGR Forever! Funds are supported by donors like you: parents, grandparents, alumni, staff, residents and business owners in our community who want the educational experience at East Grand Rapids Pubic schools to continue to be the best possible.
