Half a Million Dollars in Program Support for Our Schools This Year

This school year, the East Grand Rapids Schools Foundation is providing more than $500,000 to our school district. That's in addition to classroom enhancement grants, student scholarships, professional development, and more. In all, the Foundation is prepared to offer more than $700,000 to our schools this year.

Included in the half million dollars in program support is $400,000 in funding for the transformation of East Grand Rapids High School, part of a six-year, multimillion-dollar commitment the Foundation has made to the project.

Also included in the half million dollars in program support for the district is nearly $100,000 in funding for the performing arts in all our schools.
