The primary purpose of the East Grand Rapids Schools Foundation is to promote the quality of academic life by enhancing or initiating those exceptional programs which are not or will not normally be underwritten by the East Grand Rapids Public Schools system.  Two types of grants may be requested: Mini-Grants and Foundation Grants.  Mini-Grants, up to $500, may be submitted at any time during the year.  Foundation grants, over $500, may be submitted two times a year: March 1 and November 1. Grants may be submitted by administration, staff, students, parents or community members.
