Wealthy Elementary Resource Room teacher Selena Brown’s mini grant request for new classroom shelves was one of the smallest requests we received last year. As anyone who has ever reorganized a room knows, however, sometimes the smallest change can make the biggest impact.
“This grant gave me access to two large bookshelves and one smaller shelf with bins to better organize and display essential classroom materials and provide students with an organized, accessible system for storing and managing their individual learning materials,” Brown says. “Students were excited to have their own space and be able to be more independent in accessing their materials.”
